How do you define victory? By defining the 10,000 feet view.
The question, “How to generate traffic for your website” must first be answered with another discussion of building a solid foundation. A part of this foundation is what I am sharing below.
I am fairly new to the online business creation world and the world of affiliate marketing, but I must say that victory has come quickly. As a guy who has been around life for a while, not been around the financial world of affiliate marketing for very long, I wanted to share that large victory with you to encourage you along your path.
I still have much to learn in the ways of search engine optimization. I have a ways to go when it comes to writing content that is very engaging. But what I have found right from the start is the freedom to create. I have found my voice in creating websites that are meaningful.
How Do I Build a Solid Foundation?
By getting that you need to find your Victory at 10,000 feet. That is Job #1. As a word of encouragement to those who are struggling with this for ideas or getting bogged down by technical issues, just know that there is a 10,000 foot view that you must accomplish first!! Or at least accomplish soon.
What do I mean by the 10,000 foot view??
I mean that you, and only you, are in control of how and what styles of online businesses that you’ll create. Only you will be in control of how to generate traffic for your website and how you are going to monetize them. You really need to spend some time at the 10,000 foot level and draw the big picture for yourself. Spend time gaining the necessary knowledge of search engine strategies and then execute your plan.

I Mean, Find the Big Picture
Now, as a newbie to this world of online business creation, I will most likely change some tactics here and there. But I have a large overview of how I’m going to proceed.
I currently have three business websites under construction. They represent the sum total of my efforts for now. I will slowly and surely build all three. Slow and steady will win the race.
Now trust me, I don’t intend on placing the cart before the horse here. I have organic traffic to create in order to make all three sites work effectively, and I am not depending on any one of them to succeed dramatically in order to fund the others. I am creating multiple revenue streams.
These sites are very specific to my talents. You will find people who agree with your methods and you will find people that don’t agree. What’s important is that these are MY sites that are being directed from my 10,000 foot view.
